About the author: A Kendra Green is a writer and artist; she lives in Dallas, Texas, where she is a visiting assistant professor at the University of Texas, a guest artist at Nasher Sculpture Center, and an associate editor at Southwest Review. Her wide range of experience and interests encompass photography, art and natural history.
