Theatre Programme Manager:

If you’re looking for the next step in your career in the theatre, arts, or charity sectors, Stagetext are looking for someone passionate about access and the arts to be our new Theatre Programme Manager.

Stagetext are a national charity advocating for and providing access to the arts for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing audiences.

Based in our new home in the Mercury Theatre in Colchester, we are ideally looking for someone with lived experience of deafness, and great links to deaf organisations or cultural venues across the South East, which is a particular area of focus for Stagetext.

You will support theatres across the UK to provide captioned performances for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing audiences and will be the main point of contact for all theatres outside London in booking in shows, liaising with captioners, and undertaking site visits from time to time.

This is a one-year contract, and the role will be hybrid, based in the Mercury Theatre, at home and with some travel to venues in the South East. The salary is £28,000. We are a small friendly team who love what we do, so come work with us!

The deadline for applications is midnight Monday 22nd October. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd November.
