Do you love the theatre or going to galleries? How would you feel if you were unable to hear a performance properly, or know how an artefact looked? Would you still want to go, or would you feel shut out?
Stagetext and VocalEyes are committed to increasing access to the arts and cultural sector for people with hearing and sight difficulties. The two charities share a modern, airy office in SE1 and are looking for a Finance Manager to take sole financial responsibility for both organisations, a total of 12 people.
You will already be a Finance Manager, preferably with experience of working for a charity, although motivated people from the commercial sector will also be considered. You will be looking for a role in a close-knit, supportive team where no-one will be telling you how to organise your time.
Your day will be completely yours to plan but is likely to include invoicing, payment runs, banking and creating management accounts, as well as general support for the teams. You will be proficient in Sage 50c Accounts Professional.
We are also willing to consider applications from candidates who may wish to job share, if it facilitates those with personal commitments or access needs. Please contact Melanie to discuss your application prior to submission if you would like to be considered as a job share.
By joining us you will be directly contributing to the well-being of people experiencing sight and hearing loss.
To apply, please download and return a completed Application Form below to firstname.lastname@example.org by 9am Monday, 8 July.
VocalEyes and Stagetext seek to be Equal Opportunities Employers and actively encourage applicants from disabled people. Please complete an Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form and return it along with your application form.
