Every word counts

The Science Museum hold their first joint subtitled and BSL events

Two events, which are part of the Science Museum’s SIGNtific programme, will be offered with live subtitles alongside BSL access, a first for the venue.

The SIGNtific programme is a series of inclusive events at the museum and has been created for families with members who are d/Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or who use cochlear implants, and will run on selected Saturdays across the year.

The theme for this SIGNtific is Superbugs. A full day of activities has been organised for Saturday 30 June, including creating a movie of a bacteria, tours of Superbugs: The Fight For Our Lives, scavenger hunts and more.

The specific live subtitled and BSL events are:

Sat 30 June, 10.30am - 'Superbugs' SIGNtific - Infectious Adventures
Sat 30 June, 2.30pm – ‘Superbugs’ SIGNtific – Objects Under the Lens

Tickets for these events are free, so book now to avoid disappointment.
