Can you help us replace our stolen tablets this Christmas?

Can you help us replace our stolen tablets this Christmas?

We have had an amazing year working with some of the most incredible organisations in the country. We’ve teamed up with the likes of the Wellcome Collection, the V&A, and even Buckingham Palace, to bring live subtitles to some of the most exciting and interesting exhibitions and talks in the country.

But unfortunately, we’ve come face-to-face with the Christmas Grinch!

After finishing Captioning Awareness Week this November and packing up our equipment to head back to the office, one of our bags was stolen. This bag contained tablets we use to deliver tours in museums and galleries.

Our tablets allow users to explore exhibitions freely, take part in guided tours, and ask questions in real time, they’re vitally important when providing an equal and inclusive experience in museums and galleries.

Each tablet we use costs us £100, so this Christmas we’re going to be asking Father Christmas and everyone who is able, to help raise funds to replace the tablets that are so important in the delivery of access in museums and galleries. Every pound you can spare will go towards replacing these tablets, supporting our future talks and tours events, and will help us get back to working at 100 per cent capacity.

You can donate directly with Virgin Giving or you can visit www.stagetext.org/support-us, where you can find all the different ways to support Stagetext.

Thank you so much for your continued support of Stagetext and we all wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
