Conforming to unrealistic beauty standards, Francesca occupies an erosive industry that triggers a plethora of problems. One night, she discovers not only a new sense of purpose, but a path of empowerment and autonomy. Shedding the shackles of a toxic dwelling, she seeks refuge within the theatricality of an alternative lifestyle, birthing an exuberant character. A self-proclaimed ‘quirky disciplinarian’, she adopts a comedic approach to her work in the often stigmatised world of dominance, as clients travel oceans for her artistry. Themes of mental health and sexuality are explored in this LGBTQ+ friendly work-in-progress show.
