Stockport Jewish Heritage Trail: Online Launch

Stockport Jewish Heritage Trail is a new free digital trail exploring the fascinating history of the town centre’s Jewish communities. The trail uses memories, historic photographs and maps to tell the story of shops, market traders, synagogues, homes, activists, war memorials, refugees and more from the 1800s onwards. This online launch will highlight several key buildings and sites on the digital trail, while also explaining how to use it. It will be led by Kevin Bolton, a Stockport resident and archivist who created the trail. To find out more about the trail, please visit https://stockportjewishheritagetrail.com or email Kevin at [email protected]

Access Information

The online launch will use Zoom. For more about accessibility in Zoom, please visit https://www.zoom.com/en/accessibility. We plan to use Zoom’s auto-generated captions, but if you have any access requirements (e.g. manual captions or audio description) please let us know on the booking form or by emailing Kevin at [email protected] . We are also able to provide any presentations in advance.
