Super-infinite, Katherine Rundell’s wondrous biography of John Donne, won the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction last year. This deeply thoughtful work enables the reader to scale the cosmic heights of the poet’s original mind and to understand the times in which he lived. Today she discusses a new essay for the Book Festival, introducing Donne’s main themes and close reading one of his poems. In conversation with Gavin Francis.
