We’re delighted to welcome beloved best-selling American author Katherine Heiny to Durham in her first ever UK tour. Katherine will talk about her new book, Games and Rituals, a hilarious and poignant collection of stories perfect for fans of Nora Ephron and Maria Semple, that explore love in all its forms, from friendships formed at an airport bar, to mothers of suspiciously sweet teenagers and ill-advised trysts.
Katherine Heiny is the author of Early Morning Riser, Standard Deviation and Single, Carefree, Mellow, and her short fiction has been published in The New Yorker, Ploughshares, Narrative, Glimmer Train, and many other places. She lives in Washington, D.C.
