Synopsis:

Join two acclaimed political thinkers from the North East as they discuss their latest books and what might be next for the region as we approach devolution.
Sebastian Payne is an award-winning journalist who grew up in Gateshead. He is the director of the think tank Onward, and the author of Broken Heartlands. The Fall of Boris Johnson tells the behind-the-scenes story of the scandals that felled Johnson.
Chris Mullin was Labour MP for Sunderland South from 1987 until he stood down in 2010. He is the author of three widely acclaimed diaries, a memoir and several novels. In Didn’t You Use to Be Chris Mullin?, Chris chronicles the turbulent last decade of the second Elizabethan era.
