Talk and draw – Whistlejacket

Starting with Whistlejacket by George Stubbs artist Daisy Luck will take this iconic work as their point of departure for a creative exploration, in connection with the current Room 1 exhibition ‘Stubbs: Portrait of a Horse.
 
The session will focus on themes of anatomy and movement. You will experiment with a few drawing techniques and exercises to incorporate a sense of movement into your drawing in this artist-led drawing session
Please have to hand paper, drawing pencils, and coloured pencils or pastels, as well as tracing paper (or kitchen greaseproof paper) if you would like to experiment further.
 
The session will take place online, will last approximately one hour, and will include live speech-to-text transcription supported by Stagetext.
