Stagetext’s  mission is to advocate for and deliver equal access to arts and culture for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people. We do this through text-based deaf access such as captions and live subtitles. 
With the help of funding from Arts Council England, we work with some of the most amazing theatre and cultural spaces across the UK, to offer theatre captions and subtitles for deaf access as well as providing deaf awareness training for venues that want to create a inclusive experience for audiences.
From small independent theatres and arts and culture venues such as Shakespeare’s Globe, to the Gorleston Pavilion in Norfolk , from Edinburgh International Book Festival to Towner Eastbourne, from the National Theatre to Bafta, we work all over the UK.
