Synopsis:
Taking inspiration from April’s ‘Picture of the month’ – Michelangelo’s unfinished painting, ‘The Entombment’ – join us to play with the concept of ‘finish’.
We will work directly from life models as we explore the human body. What sense of freedom and what possibilities can we create when we release ourselves from focusing on making a perfectly finished drawing?
Artist Emyr Williams will lead you through a series of exercises in this online session to widen your understanding of finished art, while developing your figure drawing skills and creativity.
All you will need for this session is a pencil, paper, and rubber.
