Synopsis:

Welcome to Elsinore, Denmark, where ghosts walk the earth, murder is committed, and a Prince must avenge his dead father.
Award-winning theatre company Shakespeare at The George’s summer production for 2024 is one of the Bard’s most recognisable plays. The courtyard of The George Hotel in Huntingdon will become a Scandinavian castle when it is transformed into the Royal Court of Denmark in Elsinore as we follow the fortunes of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, and his family.
For anyone who is not familiar with the story of Hamlet, they will find mystery & conspiracy in abundance and a great Shakespearean tragedy punctuated with dark humour in which the characters weave an intricate web of intrigue. Witness the battle between a man’s nature, his conscience, and the weight of a father’s expectations that sets in motion a train of events that will end in tragedy.
