This year WOW – Women of the World turns 13! Join us to delve into a day of events full of amazing speakers and fascinating topics at the world’s biggest festival dedicated to celebrating women, girls and non-binary people.
Sunday at WOW explores women’s history, how kindness can change your life, deep fakes, revenge porn, and addiction and recovery. Plus learn DIY basics and take a look at WOW’s Views on the News. Guests include writer Kit de Waal, The Story of Art Without Men’s Katy Hessel, legendary writer Deborah Levy and more.
Journalist and broadcaster Sali Hughes talks to broadcaster Lauren Laverne about her new book Everything is Washable, with advice on topics like cutting your own fringe and splitting finances with your partner.
RAW in WAR (Reach All Women in War) return to the festival to present the Anna Politkovskaya Award for female human rights defenders from conflict zones to Tetiana Sokolova, a courageous midwife from Mariupol, and Svetlana Gannushkina, a human rights activist from Russia who uses her platform to speak out about the war in Ukraine.
There are speakers you know and others you don’t, but are bound to love. It’s a day of mind-expanding conversation, laughter and fun.
Day passes are available for Friday and Saturday too. Each day features a completely different line-up, so you can buy passes for multiple days, or just one.
The WOW Foundation produces festivals across the world to celebrate women, girls and non-binary people, and raise awareness globally. Led by Jude Kelly CBE, WOW festivals have reached three million people worldwide.
