Synopsis:
It’s 1981. Margaret Thatcher, the country’s first female leader is in power. Marlene, having rejected her roots and motherhood for career fulfilment in London, has become the first female managing director of Top Girls employment agency. Having unapologetically fought her way to the top, Marlene negotiates the patriarchy, traditional gender stereotyping and most personally, the ghosts of her past.
