Synopsis:
Hello world, we’re coming to you live from Shakespeare’s Globe! This year Metamorphoses will be live streamed from the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and you can watch from home.
This playful new piece of theatre inspired by Ovid’s powerful collection of myths has been written bespoke to our candlelit Playhouse by the Globe’s first writers-in-residence in nearly four centuries.
Expect anarchy, shape shifting and a burning chariot of fire.
There are various live performances dates in September and October – with just two of these performances, 29 and 30 October, being live streamed to the world.
Live stream ticket prices start at just £5 per household with an option to donate on top.
