Learn Live – Memoir: Plotting Your Story image
Synopsis:

Learn how to give your stories pace and structure in our online course.

Lives might not have plots, but life-stories do. Plot means structure, energy, drive: plot is what makes the reader turn the page and ask ‘so what happened next?’ Plots can be vast and complex as in a John le Carre novel, or as small and contained as in a fairy tale or nursery rhyme. This online course will introduce you to the seven basic plots and show you how to turn your own experiences into a gripping narrative.

This course takes place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before. There will be an opportunity to ask tutor, Frances Wilson, questions during a Q&A and have conversations with your fellow participants in the virtual breakout rooms.

This event will have live subtitles by Stagetext delivered by MyClearText.
