Learn about this Italian Baroque painting and how it has inspired children around the UK
Take One Picture is the Gallery’s national programme for primary schools. It aims to put art at the centre of children’s learning across the curriculum, inspiring a lifelong connection with artists’ work, museums and galleries.
Each year, participating primary schools focus on one painting from the collection and respond creatively, following the children’s questions and ideas. A selection of works is then showcased in an annual exhibition.
Join Take One Picture Co-ordinator, Catherine Heath, to explore this year’s focus painting, and some of the creative projects it has inspired.
