Scientific discussion meeting organised by Professor Antonia Hamilton and Dr Judith Holler.
New technologies and new theories are emerging to enable a scientific approach to studying face to face social interaction. This meeting brings together research in neuroscience, psychology, computer science, linguistics, anthropology and evolutional biology to share different ways of studying face-to-face interaction, discuss common challenges and possible solutions, and thus to define the future of this growing field.
The schedule of talks and speaker biographies are available below. Speaker abstracts will be available closer to the meeting date. Meeting papers from the speakers will be published in a future issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B.
