Commemoration – Remembering and Celebrating the Loves, Lives and Losses of the Last Two Years aims to bring people together to remember those who passed away during the pandemic and thank all those who helped support those suffering from Covid and the families who lost loved ones.
Presented by BBC Essex hosts Sonia Watson and Ben Fryer, the concert will feature performances from Colchester’s British Army Band, Funky Voices Choir and Mercury Young Company with more acts to be announced.
Produced by the Mercury in partnership with Colchester Borough Council, BBC Essex and local community and faith organisations. The event will be livestreamed to homes, community and faith centres across Colchester and beyond.
