unReal City, our work-in-progress exploration of virtual reality, created in collaboration with dreamthinkspeak, is now in full swing, with tickets now all sold out. On 26 January, 6.30pm, dreamthinkspeak and Access All Areas will host a free live-streamed panel talk: Access in Immersive Technology and Performance.Hosted at Brighton Dome, we will discuss how we can make immersive technology more accessible and how it can be used to increase accessibility. Chaired by Disability Arts Online.
This discussion takes place alongside unReal City, which is an experimental Mixed Reality experience that explores what personal connection means in a world that is increasingly digital.
As immersive technology advances and is used more frequently in performance work and events, we feel it’s essential that it is accessible to as many audiences and creatives as possible.
This discussion will explore the latest developments in access in the industry and highlight some of the multiple access adjustments from our co-production of unReal City.
