A live, free online workshop for children aged 7+ and their families.
Have fun and make music using sounds from our Sound Archive!
We’ll show you how to use our new online music-making machine Photophonic. Using objects such as a lampshade or a pobblebonk frog call, you can sculpt your own quirky sounds and then play them with others online in a real-time improvised jam!
This session will be interactive, sensory and lots of fun!
This workshop takes place on Zoom and you'll be emailed a joining link in advance.
Please note you will require a phone with QR scanner to take part in this workshop, and the internet browser Chrome.
Places are limited so please book in advance. If you can no longer attend please let us know at email@example.com so we can offer your place to another family.
If you’d like to join our waiting list please email firstname.lastname@example.org with Digital Futures in the subject line, and we’ll be in touch if a space becomes available.
This workshop is part of research undertaken by the University of Nottingham and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
The fun continues...
Don't forget you can explore more activities on our family webpages, from storytelling videos to craft and play ideas. Join in!
