Online | Becket Audio Described Talk

Synopsis

This talk will explore key objects which illustrate the life, death and legacy of Thomas Becket. It follows his tumultuous journey from a merchant's son to an archbishop, and from a revered saint in death to a 'traitor' in the eyes of Henry VIII.

Alongside images of each object, Lonny will provide a detailed visual description, accompanied by expert insight from the exhibition's co-curator Naomi Speakman.

This event will have live subtitles provided by Stagetext, delivered by MyClearText.
