Learn how to finally tell your story on our online course
Everyone has a memoir in them and in most cases, this is where it stays. This online short course is for people who have a true story to tell and a hundred excuses for not telling it: maybe you’ve never written anything before, you have a foggy memory, or – most often – you don’t want to anger or upset your family. What are the ethics of owning your story and laying the past to rest? Biographer and critic Frances Wilson will discuss how to start writing your memoir and how to do so sensitively.
This is one of three memoir writing courses. Book for one or as many as you like:
Wednesday 21 April: Getting Started
Wednesday 28 April: Shaping Your Story
Wednesday 5 May: The Art of Remembering
This course takes place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before. There will be an opportunity to ask Frances questions during a Q&A and have conversations with your fellow participants in the virtual breakout rooms.
