Synopsis
Does a biography have to be cradle-to-grave? Can it focus instead on a single event, such as a marriage, an illness, or an extraordinary experience?
How do I write the biography of someone who left behind no letters or diaries? Or what if I am deluged with letters and diaries and can’t find my way through?
These and other questions will be answered as our tutor Frances Wilson shows you how to turn the flotsam and jetsam of another person’s life into a page-turning story.
This course takes place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before.There will be an opportunity to ask the tutor questions during a Q&A, and have conversations with your fellow participants in virtual breakout rooms.
