Talk Online I Learn Live: Make up - Exploring Beauty

Online I Learn Live: Make up - Exploring Beauty

Synopsis

Makeup has played a crucial part in society, especially in the lives of women. It’s a tool that has set ‘beauty standards’ but has also provided an opportunity to break away from those same standards.

Inspired by our exhibition Unfinished Business: The Fight for Women’s Rights, discover your creative voice, learn some make up techniques, and think about how to use makeup as tool to explore your imagination and reclaim your personal narrative.

By the end of the session you’ll have created a look unique to you and learned techniques and ways of thinking to apply to your future makeup projects.

This course takes place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before. There will be an opportunity to ask the tutor Salwa Rahman questions during a Q&A, and have conversations with your fellow participants in virtual breakout rooms.

This event will have live subtitles provided by Stagetext, delivered by MyClearText.
