The host for the event, who introduces and interviews each of the shortlisted authors, is to be announced. The winner of the Booker Prize is announced on Monday 14 October.

The 2019 Booker Prize for Fiction is chaired by Peter Florence and the judges are Afua Hirsch, Liz Calder, Xiaolu Guo and Joanna MacGregor.
