Talk Medieval City: The story of the Square Mile

The story of the Square Mile

This tour replaces the London Before London one originally advertised.

Join our tour guide as she takes a journey through the history of the City of London, looking at its development from its early foundation to something we would recognise so much more today. You will be looking at some of its incredible monuments, institutions and trades which have existed here; the fabric from which the city has been woven into one of the most influential 'square miles' in the world.

Places are free but ticketed, and advance booking is required. Please use the Box Office email below.

Visitors are welcome to bring up to two hearing friends. Contact Booking Office on 020 7001 9846 or boxoffice@museumoflondon.org.uk if you can no longer attend, as we run a waiting list for fully booked events and can offer your space to someone else.
