The Commitments (Tour)

The Commitments (Tour)

Synopsis

The Commitments is a fantastically feel good celebration of soul based on the BAFTA award-winning classic film.

Direct from a record breaking run in the West End, The Commitments tells the story of Jimmy Rabbitte, a young working class music fan, who shapes an unlikely bunch of amateur musicians and friends into an amazing live act, the finest soul band Dublin has ever produced.

With over 20 soul classics performed live on stage including Try A Little Tenderness, River Deep - Mountain High, In The Midnight Hour, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Mustang Sally, I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Reach Out, Uptight, Knock On Wood, I Can't Turn You Loose and more, The Commitments is a fabulously fun musical you will simply never forget.

The Commitments has been adapted from the novel by Booker prize winning author Roddy Doyle himself and is directed by the award-winning Jamie Lloyd.
