Art On The Edge (Discussion with speech-to-text transcription)

Key facts

Genre: Discussion

Synopsis

Work by disabled artists can push boundaries politically and aesthetically, breaking the so-called 'rules' of varying art forms - what we are supposed to look at and look for within work. Jo Verrent will push this panel with contributions from Katherine Araniello (from Disabled Avant Garde) and Noemi Lakmaier, both of whom created work for the live art event M21: From the Medieval to the 21st Century, an Unlimited Commission focusing on and in Much Wenlock, and Simon McKeowen, who was part of M21 and also has his own Unlimited commission, Motion Disabled.
