Exploring the Options and Consequences for Artists with Hidden Impairments
Hosted by Ruby Wax, comedian, writer and founder of Black Dog Tribe, a social networking site for people experiencing depression, this session focuses on a relatively unexplored area of the disability agenda - hidden impairments.
What happens when you make work that links to your experiences of hidden impairment? What are the pros and cons of 'coming out' as a disabled artist?
Hear from a panel of Unlimited artists including Bobby Baker (Mad Gyms and Kitchens), Rachel Gadsden (Global Unlimited Alchemy) and Sinead O'Donnell (Caution).
This is a free event but tickets need to be booked in advance.
