Synopsis

Driven by a life-long fascination with warning sirens, Jez Colborne, a multi-talented composer, musician and performer, can hear music where most of us hear noise. Working in collaboration with Mind the Gap, he has composed something truly irresistible.

Irresistible is a symphony of sirens, a musical experience that combines alarm sirens, other non-traditional instruments and singing voices to create a breathtaking choral work that takes over the environs of Royal Festival Hall for one day only.

There will be a post-show talk with speech-to-text transcription after the 4pm performance. This is a free event but tickets need to be booked in advance.
