Every word counts

Legacy giving

Making a Gift to Stagetext in your Will

When it comes to leaving gifts to others in your Will, naturally those closest to you come first in your thoughts.

Increasingly, people are also taking time to think about leaving gifts to charities whose work they value.

Perhaps you, a family member or one of your friends have attended our events, seen first hand the benefits that captioning or live subtitling can bring,  and would like to show your appreciation.

A gift made to Stagetext in your Will makes a significant contribution to our future and gives even more deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people the opportunity to enjoy the arts.

From April 2012, a significant change to Inheritance Tax law came into effect, aimed at encouraging people to give more to charitable causes. Any estate that leaves at least 10% to a charitable or cultural cause will be able to take advantage of a cut in Inheritance Tax from the current level of 40% down to 36%.

Please speak with your Will Advisor about making a gift in your Will to Stagetext. If you would like to talk to us further about leaving us a legacy, please contact Fiona Anderson.

All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.
