The Importance of Being Earnest (Captioned in house)

Genre
Comedy

Two young gentlemen living in 1890’s England, Jack and Algernon, have been leading dual lives by both taking on the name Ernest in order to win the hearts of their respective loves, Gwendolen and Cecily.

Jack lives in the country where he is guardian to Cecily Cardew, but whenever he slips away to London he is known only as Ernest and is passionately in love with Algeron’s cousin Gwendolen Fairfax. Algernon, also known as Ernest, travels to the country and falls deeply in love with Cecily. It is here at the country manor that their deceptions are discovered and things start to go awry...

All will be revealed in this classic comedy of manners.
