Every word counts

CLOSING SOON | Now Hiring A Digital Manager

Closing date 9am, 21 August 2017.

Stagetext’s favourite American in residence and Digital Manager, Adam Werlinger, is moving on to something a little more avant-garde (no, that's not a euphemism), and he’s leaving us with some big, yet still very stylish, shoes to fill.

This is a key role within Stagetext and is an opportunity to support and advocate for access for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people within the UK’s art sector. Through providing advice, training, and coordinating the delivery of digitally subtitled work you will promote the use of Stagetext services and ensure high-quality provision.

Based in Stagetext’s office in the heart of East London you will manage a team of highly-experienced freelance personnel to support the delivery of this programme and work with the senior management team on new and existing initiatives to widen the use of subtitling.

If you love the arts, are well-organised with meticulous attention to detail, with experience of working in Audio Visual, digital media and/or IT and share our goal of making the arts accessible to all then this may be the role for you.

Salary: £27,815 plus pension contribution and generous holiday provision.
