Royal Court Theatre seeks Ambassadors to promote new productions
Are you passionate about theatre? Ever thought of being an Ambassador for a top London theatre? If so, the Royal Court Theatre is currently looking for caption users to join its team of Reps to promote new work by writers from the UK and abroad.
Successful applicants will get a free ticket to every production during preview week, special offers for plays and events, the chance to contribute to the vibrant and exciting life of the organisation, meet with directors and playwrights, and get an inside view of the working of the Royal Court.
In return, you would need to attend monthly meetings with all the reps (a great chance to network), promote Royal Court productions to existing and new caption users, give feedback to inform their marketing campaigns, work towards audience targets and have a commitment to the Royal Court Theatre and its core values.
How to apply
If you’re interested and you have excellent links with deaf, deafened and hard of hearing caption users, please email your CV, a covering letter, a photograph you are happy for the Royal Court to use on its website, and an Equal Opportunities Form (which can be downloaded here) to Alex Sayer – AlexSayer@royalcourttheatre.com – by 12 noon on Friday 2 November 2012.
Please click here for further information and a full job description.
The Royal Court Rep scheme has been running for over four years and they are excited to welcome a new team for 2013!
