Help raise funds for captioned fringe production
Keen to see captioning in a small, fringe venue in North London? Now’s your chance to make it happen.
Producer Gemma Lloyd of act up will be staging Kurt Vonnegut’s play Happy Birthday, Wanda June, at The Old Red Lion in November but needs extra funds to put on a captioned performance. STAGETEXT has agreed to provide a caption unit free of charge but money is needed to cover cost of the captioner.
Why not take a look at act up’s fundraising bid which explains how you can help. Please give whatever you can, and don’t forget to tell your family and friends, too!
If the bid is successful, then maybe other fringe venues will follow suit.
